Abstract

Praise be to God Almighty, because by His grace and blessings the learning material book "News Casting for English Club Learners" can be compiled and completed well. This book is specifically designed to support the extracurricular activities of the English Club at the Senior High School level, with a focus on news casting skills or broadcasting news in English.

News casting activities not only train formal and expressive speaking skills, but also develop self-confidence, accuracy of pronunciation, intonation, and the ability to work in a team. Therefore, this book is compiled with a practical and communicative approach, equipped with basic materials, sample scripts, exercises, and creative projects that can support practice-based learning.

We hope that this book can be an inspiring and applicable learning resource for students who want to develop their interests and talents in the world of English broadcasting and communication. We would like to express our gratitude to all parties who have supported the compilation of this book, especially the enthusiastic English Club students.

We realize that this book is far from perfect. Therefore, we greatly expect constructive criticism and suggestions for the improvement and development of the next edition.
