Transformasi Sosial Berbasis Pendidikan Al-Qur’an Pasca Bencana terhadap Studi Kampung Qur’an Merapi dalam Perspektif Sosiologi Agama

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the post-disaster Qur'an-based social transformation in the Merapi Qur'an Village community from a sociology of religion perspective. The Mount Merapi eruption not only caused physical and economic impacts but also gave rise to social, cultural, and religious changes in community life. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that Merapi Qur'an Village has become a space for social transformation through the internalization of Qur'anic values ​​in education, social solidarity, spirituality, and community empowerment. The sociology of religion perspective demonstrates that religion functions as an integrative force capable of rebuilding the social order of post-disaster communities. This social transformation is characterized by increased religious awareness, the formation of collective solidarity, the development of a culture of Qur'anic education, and the emergence of more adaptive and resilient community lifestyles. This study confirms that Qur'anic values ​​can serve as a basis for social reconstruction in the face of crises and disasters.
