Abstract

The Sustainable Food Yard Program (P2L) implemented in the Anak Petai Village of Prabumulih Utara aims to enhance food security and empower the community, particularly women's farmer groups (KWT). Through extension activities and mentoring, this program has successfully increased KWT members' participation in crop cultivation from 40% to 85%. Additionally, community awareness of the importance of utilizing yard space for food security has risen from 30% to 75%. This program not only meets family food needs but also boosts the local economy through the sale of harvests. Although there are challenges in marketing, which is limited to traditional markets, this program demonstrates that community empowerment through the utilization of local resources can have a sustainable positive impact. The success of P2L serves as a concrete example that with the right support, communities can optimally utilize their yard spaces
